Buses: Western Greyhound service 526 departs from the Driftwood
shop (see map below) on each hour
(4 mins past odd hours).
Return from the gardens at Hr+45
(takes under 10 mins).
Taxis available from Mike's Taxis (tel. 01726 843001). One way taxi fare (for four people) to Heligan Gardens is £9 (book in advance)
Footpath to Heligan Gardens runs from just beyond the main car park (on road to St Austell, opp. Vicarage Hill) and is approximately 1½ miles from where it joins the road (2m from village centre).
The path to Heligan is uphill through woods and farmland and takes approx. 50 mins. there and 45 mins. back (downhill!). Path can be muddy. In wet weather we recommend that you follow the cycle track all the way. It's a bit longer - but drier!

(except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
Main Season - 10am - 6pm, last tickets at 4:30pm.
Winter - 10am - 5pm, last tickets at 3:30pm.
RECOMMENDED LENGTH OF STAY
At least half a day.
DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED BETWEEN MARCH AND OCTOBER
