Footpath from Mevagissey to Heligan Gardens

Buses: Western Greyhound services 524-5 depart from
opposite main car park (see map) at Hr+55
(Sundays 1120 & 1250). Return from the gardens
at Hr+25 (Sundays 1500 & 1630).
Footpath to Heligan Gardens runs from just beyond the
children’s play area (on road out towards St Austell) and is
approximately 1½ miles from where it leaves the road.
The path is uphill through woods and
farmland and you should allow 50 minutes
there & 40 back (downhill!). The path
can be muddy in places after heavy rain
(cycle track is a little longer but easier
in wet weather).

village towards St Austell.

(cycle path runs parallel to the
road initially). Leave cycle track*
via wooden gate on left, 50 yards
after passing an ivy covered ruin
